Shelly Reet
Shelly joined Wellink in June of 2009.
Shelly originally trained as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse over 20 years ago, the passion which attracted her to work in mental health at a young age continues to be at the forefront of everything she does. Shelly particularly enjoys working alongside individuals and groups to realise the potential they have within to make changes within themselves and to positively affect those around them.
Her extensive experience in the mental health and addictions sector includes service leadership, general and project management, alongside expertise in research, supervision, audit and design, development and facilitation of training programmes for multi-professional groups.
Shelly relocated from the UK in 2000 where she received qualifications of a Master of Science in Mental Health studied through Guys and St Thomas Medical School (Kings College, London) and a post graduate Diploma in Management. Since arriving in New Zealand Shelly has continued her professional development undertaking courses in psychodrama, supervision and adult education.
