Team Coordinator, Hutt Valley
Liz Brown
At present Liz is Team Coordinator in the Hutt Valley. Liz came to Wellink in 2002 after graduating from Whitireia Polytechnic in 2000 with a Diploma in Social Work. Having worked with youth Liz was interested in expanding her knowledge of mental health recovery services and felt Wellink was a great place to start her knowledge path.
In the last seven years Liz has held several roles at Wellink, finding them all to be fascinating, challenging, rewarding and educational. Liz finds her current role challenging and rewarding for different reasons than those that initially attracted her to Wellink as she works alongside with service users and staff. Liz is grateful to still be a part of the front line staff where she can do the hands on, face to face work while assisting and facilitating other team members on their educational journey.
